Sarah is an HR professional and change management specialist. She is incredibly passionate about bringing out the best in people and organisations. She combines this passion with extensive experience in collaborating with others to create high performing organisations with talented people, who love what they do, live and breathe the values and have the capability to deliver on what's most important.
Sarah is currently General Manager People at the Australian Football League (AFL). She is also a Director of Melbourne Stadiums Limited following the AFL’s recent acquisition of Etihad Stadium.
Sarah truly believes in doing what you love and is fortunate to have found that at the AFL. Since arriving just over three years ago, the team has worked on creating a culture that truly values its people – personally and professionally. Its our people that allows us to think big and deliver extraordinary experiences for our fans and the community. Whether it be acquiring a stadium, launching AFLW, our new women’s league or being in a privileged position to help shape societal attitudes, the AFL is not just another organisation.
Sarah’s “past lives’’ include Head of Diversity and Head of Culture at Australia Post, attracted by the prospect of working with talented people on one of Australia’s largest, most complex transformational change agendas. Prior to Post, Sarah was a Senior Organisational Development Consultant at global management consulting firm, Right Management.
