Anna Buber-Farovich

HR Enablement and Transition Lead, Google

Anna has worked with technology leader Google in global roles for over 8 years, and is currently HR Transition & Enablement Lead for Google Operation Centres. Anna played a key role in designing and launching Google Operation Centres in Manila and India. Prior to that, Anna was excelling as Organisational Development Manager and Practice Lead for Google APAC. Over the last four years she has played an integral part in developing and rolling out a best practice framework for the region. A highly creative thinker with a capacity for bold thinking and innovation. Anna has developed a reputation as a change catalyst and valuable disruptor to status quo thinking, driving continuous improvement and forward momentum across a whole range of people initiatives.  

Anna studied an MA in Organisational Sociology in university before moving into HR as a career. Benefitting from a robust HR Generalist background and exposure to the full HR value chain, Anna specialised in L&D with Marvell Semiconductors, where she supported the organisation to build their first in-region L&D program. Moving to Google, Israel in 2011, Anna gained invaluable experience in change management, with notable achievements including serving as HR Lead on the acquisition integration of WAZE, Google’s most successful integration to date. 

Passionate about aligning Organisational Development strategies with business needs, Anna has broadened her skill set to focus on executive coaching, change leadership, team dynamics and talent management. She currently provides the executive team across APAC with specialist support in diagnosing team dynamic challenges, adding significant dollar value to Google’s bottom line through the creation of fit-for-purpose people solutions, including experiential events.
