Zandy Fell is a Director with The ZALT Group. As a workplace conflict resolution practitioner, Zandy’s passion is supporting others to prepare for & participate in difficult conversations. She is an experienced and successful conflict coach, restorative justice facilitator, mediator and workplace investigator.

She combines a legal and HR background with a decade “in the trenches” of industrial relations in the automotive industry. Proactively she supports people to manage their own working relationships for strategic advantage. Zandy’s comfort in conflict is contagious as she supports others to identify & implement their options during workplace conflict. Her coaching approach supports & challenges to allow clients to reach better outcomes quicker by providing insights and upskilling. Diagnosing the root cause of workplace issues is a strength. She brings a creativity to problem solving which supports the sustainability of resolution plans. Her clients attest to her neutrality and her clear, pragmatic and realistic approach together with an awareness of organisational and interpersonal sensitivities. She has been described as “compassionately confronting”.  

Zandy enjoys the challenge of a mixed client base from government departments, Universities as well as significant companies in the retail, hospitality and manufacturing. She is currently honoured to be a Restorative Engagement Facilitator with the Commonwealth Ombudsman for the Defence Force and previously for the Defence Abuse Response Taskforce (DART).  She has been appointed to the Expert Panel for the Commonwealth Ombudsman to provide strategic insights and training with Defence Leadership regarding transformational justice. She has also been appointed as a Direct Personal Response Facilitator for the Victorian Government under their commitment the National Redress Scheme providing a restorative engagement as well as for the Department of Justice’s Restorative Engagement Program for Police Victoria. She is also on the Department of Health and Human Services Positive and Fair Workplace Panel to provide conflict resolution initiative.

Zandy has a Law and an Arts degree from Monash University and later completed a Graduate Diploma in HR. She is a nationally Accredited Mediator (Resolutions Institute), Workplace Conferencing Facilitator and has a Certificate IV in Business and Personal Coaching (International Coach Federation Approved), a Certificate in the Neuroscience of Mediation, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment as well as a Mental Health First Aid Certificate and a Risk Assessment and Management Certificate. She is currently undertaking the Working with Lived Experience course with the Forgiveness Project UK.

Currently an Associate at CMA Learning Business School Negotiation Course “Getting to Yes” and “Difficult Conversations” and is a Consultant with the prestigious Triad Consulting Group of Boston in their “Thanks for the Feedback” courses.

Zandy has a secret passion (well not so secret!) to build the confidence, credibility, capability and courage of HR practitioners to lead workplace conflict resolution.

Zandy will only work with people who want to have better workplace relationships and those who want to become conflict gurus! Creating change through relationship building, enthusiasm and a demonstrated business rational is Zandy’s proven approach.
